My second animated logo is 468 x 60.  I chose to have the logo always displayed on the left while the changes happen on the right.  Her is the link to my new second animation.

I updated my animated logo: Metro Tool Rental.  I changed a few things:

• How the text changes after coming “out” of the lines
• The direction of the second saw blade pass
• The way the complete logo stops
• and how the blade continously turns then fades out

Class: How to turn off Snap Shot previews

Hey guys, I found the way to turn off the Snap Shot previews.  When you are logged in to the wordpress webpage, look for Appearance on the column on the left, click it then choose Extras, and uncheck the first checkbox that says: Enable Snap Shots on this blog.  That will take effect on the current page and the previous blog entries.

Assign: Wk4 Assign 2 – Threes Company Intro

I loved to watch this show now and when I was growing up.  The show ran from 1976 to 1984 with different cast members and different opening sequences.  This show gave me the desire to go to and live in California.  Eventually, I did and there were a lot of similiarities between the show and my experiences there, although I never had two female roommates. 

Assign: Wk4 Assign 2 – Sin City Opening Sequence

Sin City has a great opening sequence.  The buildings morphing into the opening title is outstanding.  Great eerie music with attention to detail with the sound effects.  When the movie changes to stills during the introduction of the cast, pay close attention to the panning of the music. 

Assign: Logos

Because we are not having class tonight I’ll go ahead and show the logos I created with Flash.  I chose the name ‘Metro Tool Rental’.  It is a tool rental business.

Assign: Opening titles: Psycho

Psycho starts as many Alfred Hitchcock’s movies start; with a dramatic score. The music starts before the titles and graphics move in.  It is an interesting mix of bars coming in from different directions with text appearing between. Some of the credits split and move off in different directions providing a transition to the next credit. I was unable to tell what kind of transition there was from credits to the start of the movie.

No other video is shown and there is no voice over or sound effects, only music.
